Vishnu Deva is one of the top Bollywood choreographers today. Vishnu, who has songs like ‘Gandi Baat’ and ‘Sadi Ke Fall sa’, ‘Paaniwala Dance’, ‘Ram Chahe Leela, Leela Chahe Ram’ and ‘Ishqiyan Dishqiya’ and many more to his credit, grabbed headlines for ‘Jawaani Le Doobi’ from Kya Kool Hain Hum 3. Now, he is all set to grab the spotlight yet again with a song in Omung Kumar’s upcoming biopic Sarabjit.

Vishnu will be seen choreographing a Punjabi number in the film where the audience will get to Randeep Hooda dance for the first time. Speaking about the song, Vishnu said, “It is a fun song, a typical Punjabi number. Randeep will be dancing for the first time so I have given him steps accordingly and have let him maintain his own style.”

The song will feature all the three lead actors of the film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda. “Richa is a good dancer. We rehearsed for two-three days before the song. This way, everybody knew what they have to do as they have already worked on it. So everybody was comfortable. The dance sequence consists of all the three of them, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa,” Vishnu added.

The choreographer, who started his career as an actor in south industry, went on to become a dancer. Talking about his gurus in dancing, he said, “I started my career in dancing with Ganesh Acharya. I worked with him for five years and then with Prabhu Deva. Both are my gurus. I have learnt from both of them.”

Any upcoming projects? “I am doing a Tamil film after Sarabjit and then there is also Grand Masti,” Vishnu said.
