After delivering the successful hit of the year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman Khan, Kabir Khan is all set with his latest flick Phantom starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead. This is the first time the actor has associated with the director for a film.

Speaking about Kabir Khan, Saif said, “He is a great guy. He is importantly making a slight difference. He is directing commercial films with little difference within the parameters. The way he treats my character at the end, the kind of things he does, it’s different. Even Bajrangi Bhaijaan had enough differences that made it so interesting apart from the mainstream things. He is a really nice person and he has got a brilliant temperament.”

Elaborating on the same, she adde, “Kabir is calm and patient and yet he is an outburst kind of a guy, who loves the rugged mountains and deserts. He brings a kind of manliness and grittiness to the screen. He knows how to shoot 70 mm set-ups, because he understands the camera. And it is great because I think this is missing from our films.”

The Nawab of Bollywood also goes to the extent of comparing Kabir Khan with the legendary JP Dutta. “We have become quite heavily metro-sexual at one point, at least in my views. And Kabir is bringing man back to the movies again. I think Kabir is the one who, after JP Dutta, is seeing things in a macho way which is really nice,” Saif concluded.
